Omn, they are loosely based on the SRD seat, but they have been reworked and modified to make one of a kind seats for the STi. I don't think you will see another Recaro model shaped/sized like this one.

How tall are you, if you don't mind me asking? I need to determine if these seats would even be viable for a midget like myself.

Thanks.

Those seats are da bomb. I saw those in stimul8n's STI and he even let me sit in 'em. BTW thanks for the deal on your original STI seats!

im 5"5-5"6, 140 lbs. i've sat in SRDs and brides b4 and they hug u really nice. they're meant for small asian guys, any bigger would have a hard time sitting in it IMO.

I'm about 5'6" tall. My main concern is whether or not the seat will be too low for me. I have the seat in my STi cranked almost all the way up already. Anyone make custom seat brackets?

IMO the lower the better, as long as u can see the road. u can always use washers to raise the seat if u think its too low. try to drive with ur stock seat at the lowest point. it'll be weird at first but u'll get use to it. u can "feel" the car more that way IMO. thats why some of the track cars straight bolt their seat onto the floor.

Very true. honestly i'd rather get some brides for that price, better support than the Recaros.

Brides are very uncomfortable comparing to these. Trust me, I am all into JDM, but BRIDES are not that good unless you NOT planning to drive the car daily.

I'm officially jealous of all of you
I'm too poor and too big for any of these to be viable!

I favor Recaro and Sparco over Bride... Every Bride seat I have sat in sucks the D. However, there are some SWEET *** Recaros and sparcos out there... Like the ones Byron had in his white GC... my god, best seats ever.
