Not bad for an ebay muffler

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OrOKcaYM8RM

found an old video I made to show someone on the interwebz what my ebay muffler sounded like. stock catback to a 2.5" inlet muffler with an HKS downpipe.

Pretty loud for the size of piping too.

haha. ebay exhaust owns.

At one point I had ebay uppipe, downpipe, catback, headers, fmic and intake

ebay subaru stuff ftw. seriously

Of course my exhaust has since rusted away, the downpipe wasn't full bellmouth, my headers have since cracked and the intake has since failed and I have replaced them all with real parts - the fmic is still going strong though

Was the FMIC an SSAutoChrome? I am going for an SSAutochrome as a replacement TMIC. they are huge and from what a lot of people say they fit very well with no install problems.

Ebay stuff can be good can be bad.. its sorta a gamble but I feel like for $60 installed (welded on) I couldn't beat it. I can't imagine running my 2.5 inch or whatever the stock catback is really hindered my power on a stage 2 wrx.. or at least I don't think it was the bottle neck given that my downpipe was non-bellmouth and my uppipe was stock catted.

Yeah i think it is. I wrote about my experience 2 years ago https://www.i-club.com/forums/showth...ight=fmic+ebay

In hindsight you need to get a seperate shortram or fabricate a CAI for it though, the MAF tube on mine that came with the FMIC kit leaked and it did for a bunch of other people on NASIOC too, so I just ditched the ebay intake + FMIC MAF pipe and bought a K&N Typhoon.

Also the couplers that come with the kit were realy thick 3-ply silicone and ended up blowing off. I ended up replacing all my couplers with http://www.siliconeintakes.com/index...8b5901a42e9f62
