Sounds like everyone's busy today (as am I) so that only means one thing... a Sunday meet/drive is in store!!!
I was thinking: meet up somewhere at 10:30 (preferably a Starbucks... maybe the Golf Course Dr / Country Club Store, near In-N-Out) and drive to the coast via 116, slip down the coast on Hwy 1 (great pic spots). Eat lunch at Bodega Bay, then head back to RP/SR via Hwy 12.
Of course, if someone has a better idea: mention it! As cool as it is meeting up, I'd LOVE to go for a drive too. Might be outta town today, so someone send me a heads up at four.eight.nine-four.one.five.three...

Wait scratch that. Checked out a few maps and a funner route would be from a Starbucks close to the 101 / Hwy 12 area, follow Hwy 12 West towards Sebastapol head west on the Bodega Hwy, cut up north on Bohemian Hwy (FUN road), connect with 116, then head west to Hwy 1 on the coast.
Head south to Bodega Bay, have lunch, then follow Hwy 1 east meeting up with Valley Ford Road, passing by the Us Coast Gaurd Training Center near Two Rock. Good photo op here. Then, follow Pepper Road/Mecham Road northeast towards 101 and Cotati.
So, yeah...

starbucks
theres a starbuck right next to hwy 12 in sr.
Take 101 north to the hwy12 exit? fairgrounds.
take a right towards sonoma and when 12 runs into farmerlane take a right. you will pass the starbucks just as you are coming to farmers lane. take a right into the shopping center and you'll be there.
let me know if this works.

And as for the meeting location, the Farmer's Lane 'Bux sounds good. Though I think the Marketplace store would be better, as it's closer to Hwy 12 and 101:

Say, meet there at 11:00am and then head out. You guys still like my route?

Try these:
http://www.starbucks.com/retail/loca...ce=MapPoint.NA
http://www.google.com/maps?hl=en&cli...EZm6jgPPktToAg
Santa Rosa Marketplace Starbucks
2200 Santa Rosa Ave
Santa Rosa, CA 95407
(707) 541-0257
It's the one smack in the middle of the huge Costco, Best Buy, Target, etc shopping area. Good locaton cause then we could just jump up to 101, then take 12 West.
So who's all down for this little trip? Alternate route, or same?
