OK, sorry for not responding earlier to this thread. I've been kinda busy lately Anyways, I'll try to give a simple explanation as for what's going on. As some of you know, I've been a partner in I-Speed for about 2 years now. I do the physical Conversion aspect of the business. I have a day job as well, which is a plumber for the family business. So, I've been doing plumbing during the day and working on cars at night & weekends in the back of our plumbing shop. Some of you have had work done there and know how impractical it has become. Not to mention our parking lot that our tenants can't use because I usually have at least 5 cars taking up space. With some changes we have made with our plumbing business, it was time for me to either quit my passion of cars or go full force into plumbing, I think you guys know what choice I made. An opportunity came up for a shop that I just couldn't refuse, but all of the sudden I was thrown into the real world. No more free shop space, which my Dad was so kind to let me use. No more working without a license or insurance either. This last part was really getting to me, so now I'm much more comfortable with the situation. The shop required a business license and insurance, instead of complicating things, I chose to put everything in my name or my own business name (LIC motorsports). As for my relation with I-Speed, we are still working together. As for the Conversions, they will be done under the I-Speed name since they are synomonous. After all, we are Big Stars in a magazine now I hope this helps clear the air.
