I'm still looking for an affordable helmet. I found a few Bell helmets at Walmart but I don't know if they comply with the rules since it's M rated and not SA rated.

If all goes as planned, I should be there in my 92 SE-R. If not, I don't know what I'll be driving, lol.

DOT rated only (which is many motorcycle helmets) = no go

Snell rated, either M2005 or SA2005 (or SA95, M95, SA200, M2000) = good

Get an M2005 open face helmet like this one for $109:

This will let you autox/rallyx/track.

Especially if you don't plan massive upgrades, then the open face M helmet is probably good enough for your mostly stock car.

Spots are still open

for those of you who are wondering its a Do-or-Die method, you get 1 practice then 3 time attack runs, all back to back from my understanding.... course was said to be a 25 second run or so.

See yah out there..... if i remember to mail this check today...

it should be 3 consecutive laps, 1st lap is practice and then followed by 2 timed laps. Yea, last year was about 25 seconds per lap.

I doubt it will cost anything, the SCCA events don't charge.
