Brent, thanks for putting in the time to get those two events together. It was a lot of fun and good location. We unfortunately had to skip the 2nd event since we're heading out of town and it was my last weekend to get things done.

I'm sorry I missed Skylar the previous week to thank him again for all the hard work they put into the SCCA events.

Looks like fun... but very tight. Is there any room for some nice big, wide sweepers for some real sideways fun? The Socal events seem to have us beat in that department.

We had a club meeting last night, a riot of laughs and screwing around as usual. But on a serious note, we will be scheduling 2-3 more events for this year. I will be looking into one event towards the end of June, before it gets to hot. We'll be using what we've learned from the first 2 events to make this even better.

Another development is that I'm waiting to hear back from SCCA National office to see if we will be able to do a Western States Divisional event around Sept/Oct. So anyone with an SCCA membership is invited to participate if this happens. It would be 2 days of all out rallycross action. A bonus is that anyone needing to make this weekend cost effective will probably be able to camp at Prairie City for free, since this is technically a state park and they would leave the camping arrangements up to my club.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Some official news is now posted: http://www.formularallyx.com/. It'll be a non-points invitational.

FRX Vallejo RallyX will become a non-points invitational demo event, run in conjunction with the Motoring J Style Japanese Car Festival (www.motoringjstyle.com). The event is expected to draw 1- to 2 thousand people and will give sponsors, RallyX, and competitors great exposure.
The day will start around noon and will end around 7pm (exact times TBD), allowing for 6-8 runs per competitor with more if time allows.
FRX plans to invite up to 40 competitors, consisting of pro, semi-pro, and seasoned amateur drivers. To be eligible, competitors must have participated in a past Rally or RallyX. Entry fee is $50.
If you are interested in competing or volunteering, please email Tam Su directly at tamsu1@yahoo.com.
Word on the street says there may be a DJ as well. I think the plan is to split the 6-8 runs in half so drivers will effectively have 2 driving sessions.

im sure after the Hangtown MotoX race, the roads around there will be graded and it will be a 30 second trip instead of rock crawling it there 5 minutes haha,
