Well that sucks.

http://formularallyx.proboards85.com...4839491&page=1

It is with deepest regret and disappointment that FRX must announce the cancellation of the FRX Vallejo Invitational.

Motoring J-Style LLC, the organizer of the Motoring J-Style car show, informed Formula RallyX today that the rallyX portion of the show has been cancelled due to irreconcilable issues between them and their insurance provider. FRX and NASA (the event-sanctioning body) were allowed no part in the decision. Both FRX and NASA have fulfilled all commitments to Motoring J-Style and have done everything possible to help them effect a positive outcome.

No checks have been deposited and they will be marked VOID and shredded. Those who paid with cash will receive a refund check in the mail within 7 days.

More details will be forthcoming.

drifting is way more jdm than rallycross.

this is a total bummer. i have tried to organized an event that got canceled too. and it sucks even more to be on the organizing side.

kudos to the frx guys and their hard work thus far.

and they better not do too many events at T-Hill, they are a pain in the *** and expensive to get to (100 miles NORTH OF SAC!!!) so with gas to and from, along with a hotel (unless I wanna leave at 4:00AM, race, and then drive home) and 800 miles on my car, 4 runs just isn't worth it. I'll change my car to an auto-x/track car instead

From what I've heard about the new events at Thunder Hill, they would be totally different from the SCCA rallyx and run on a much larger plot of land than before.

btw, my car can currently run rallyx and track days just fine.

thanks for trying FRX guys, id rather have my hopes dropped than have no hope at all. Altamont better let us rally there by next year. $50 id be down for that, since its close-er

^yeah, i autocross and rallycross at the turn of the dial, the AGXs can be softer than stock i think.

the only bad thing about my AGX/eibach set up is im afraid to try 245's.
