Yes, we get to play with the tractor in the 4X4 area at Prairie City.

I wouldn't say I'm the head guy, but I'm the one who talked my club into helping keep rallycross alive in Northern California, as are Mike and Tam of FRX. I wouldn't want to suffer the ills of getting no organizational assista.....never mind, but to the fun stuff.

Yes, call me crazy but when you have 300hp to toss around in the dirt, it'll make you do whatever it takes to feed that addiction. That, and the support of my g/f, and "Pom Speed Racing".

See ya'll out there.

FRX has secured a sweet deal with United rentals, thank you. As I have also spoken with K&N Filters, don't forget to clean your air filter.

Big +1 for Brent and the guys from FRX for keeping things alive for norcal now that my only remaining title is Chief Slacker. I'm always good to hop in the tractor or water truck when called to duty though.

Sounds like elevation gains will be a big advantage to the to the high power cars.

And like Brent says - definitely don't forget to clean your air filter. I think I left mine for 3 events last year and it was seriously caked.

Brent - is there any 100 octane near the event? I don't really need it I suppose, but if it's there I probably can't say no to running my EQ 100 map.

cool, if it gets big, we should make some dedicated turns, like crests into hairpins...or a few banked esses with some rally dips to dip the front tires in

ask skylar about my filming in place of working

check out my Youtube: theres the last Thunderhill RallyX on there.

I need to get the higher res footage of my runs from you at some point if you still have it. Maybe next weekend? I like the spot leading up to 3:05 - that hair pin brought a smile to my face that day, and does each time I watch it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7zFZDrHt4jM

I'll be bringing out Megan's new beefy camera so hopefully I can get some good pics throughout the day.

Skylar sssshhhh, don't say anything about the hp thing.

2 places for 100 octane: 76 station at Watt & Whitney, and closer to event, but closed on Sundays is TMS Teagarden MotorSports. If you look to your left after passing Sunrise on 50, you will see the shop, past the boat place. Round about way to get there exiting Sunrise though.

Ummm, nice footage at youtube. Remember this is rallycross not rallysprint or club rally, but this site would easily support both other forms of playing in the dirt. I just have to decide how soon to throw a cage in my STi.

100 octane available at 76 gas station at Watt & Whitney or during the week at TMS Teagarden MotorSports off hwy 50 east on your left after passing Sunrise Blvd, past the boat place. Round about way to get there.

Skylar, don't remind people that hp is fun especially on inclines.

Nice pics, but that's not the area that we'll be using. We are towards the background of that photo. more photos of the 4x4 area can be seen at csccautox.org I'll see if I have anymore also.

Oh yeah 100 octane is at the 76 on Watt and MARCONI not whitney.

$6.999 a gallon

You are correct, one week and about 5 spots for 4/29. 2 weeks and plenty of spots for may 6th. Also, don't forget the events that will happen in Antioch and Vallejo.

I won't be at the Vallejo event, unfortunately it's the same weekend as the Hoopa Hillclimb, something to not be missed.
