MY FRIEND MARK NEEDS YOUR HELP!!
Mark Elsa is a 23 year old Lakeport resident that has been diagnosed with Synovial Sarcoma which is a very rare form of cancer that is found in the joints of the body and in Marks case has caused two large tumors to develop on his right lung. He is undergoing several rounds of chemotherapy, lung surgery, and radiation treatments. This is a very long and strenuous process that requires him to be hospitalized for weeks at a time at both UCSF and Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital. Marks family and friends are humbly asking for donations to help with these very expensive treatments that are required for his full recovery. Please keep Mark in your thoughts and prayers as he gets through this challenging time in his life.
When: Sunday, September 30 2007 9:30am
Where: Carini Speed - 748 Bevins St. Lakeport CA – 707.263.6653 for directions (Roo will be leading a caravan from the Santa Rosa area)
This event is open to any that want to participate in the recovery of our good friend Mark. That means bikes, sportscars, classics, trucks, commuters and jalopies – run what you brung. There will be a poker run around the county with great prizes ending at Carini Speed in Lakeport for a BBQ and silent auction.
Poker Run - $20
Burgers and Dogs - $5
Donations can be made to the “Mark Elsa Cancer Fund” at any Bank of America location or via paypal to reekfx7@yahoo.com If you would like to contribute to the raffle or auction, please call Carini Speed at 707.263.6653

Roo, you and Silke are the best - seriously cool people
Sucks that it lands on top of the Redwood Rendezvous, but we are going to be running out of good weather and Marks condition cant wait around either.

Thank you dude. Mark, his friends and fam cant thank you enough. Honestly, Mark would never ask for money, but since he will die without the proper treatment, I am asking for him. 1,000,000 thanks to you man - reek
