Northern California is a friggin paradise. I love this place (err, that place, since I'm in Jersey at the moment.) We've got awesome snow up in Tahoe great beaches that are usually a lot cleaner than Southern Cal's and best of all, a punk scene that's actually still a bit punk.
EVERYTHING in LA is image, and that makes me want to puke. The Bay Area still has a lot of image ******, but I'd say the problem is way less severe than down south. In conclusion, I've got a left ******** for everyone to suck on if they want to talk trash about Nor*Cal pride...

I guess where I'm going wrong is that I actually grew up in NOR*CAL and all you probably transplanted there from Kansas or Arkansas. So when it comes to ruination of the bay I have seen it all my man. I have seen Tahoe over-run by corp. greed. I have seen the MTB trails closed by special interest groups You people just stand buy and watch them take your freedoms without even a fight. Remember when you could actually ride Mt. Tam or off Hwy 9? And there happens to even be a more SO*CAL place than L.A. for all you northeners, we like to call it San Diego.
