No room for man cave

I desperately need a man cave for sanity's sake. Im not even talking abou though mega man caves.

But of course like many others in the high cost real estate bay area, my home does no have a "extra" space for me to designate a man cave. (Ive got kids)

So...... What man cave alternatives have you guys seen or know about for the square foot limited?

You can borrow mine if you help me get it back in to shape. LOL! I've got almost 500 square feet that never gets over 70 degrees. LOL!

Right now it's got a couple couches. A bowflex. A tv and a few other things in it. I'm considering getting rid of the big *** couch and putting a pull table in there.

My hobby is road cycling so my man cave is generally a 50-mile radius from my front door.

If you've got a lot of stuff to do all the time and never have a chance to lounge around and watch tv and drink low-alcohol content drinks all day long, I think all you need is a REALLY comfy chair and something to take your mind off things. A movie/video game or book usually works for me. It's like sensory deprivation, so make sure to cover all the senses. It will help you get into the "relaxing" mind frame by making yourself used to sensory triggers like certain smells, textures, positions, etc.

I'm slowly working on setting up a new game/chill station using my stock car seats and my 3-monitor game setup. I like to sit down with a good drink and maybe a snack (tea/whiskey/piece of chocolate) and zone out on some netflix or distract myself with some games.

Maybe not quite as good as a pool table/couch/big tv etc. but it works for me and takes up much less space.

This!

I have the room and I still don't have a man cave. A 4 bedroom house and only 2 rooms are permanently occupied. But with one bedroom with a queen bed and one bedroom with a treadmill and a twin bed, it limits the size I need. Plus my son would eventually start using it for his fun and games as well.

Do you have a back yard? What about building a shed, window ac, tv ect. That's the only at home option I can think of.

I like this idea...I knew someone who basically lived in a shed in his parents backyard..it had a couch, a tv, and the wifi signal from the house still worked outside haha
