My car is getting closer to ready to roll - the header is finally done and just came in, suspension is buttoned up and aligned, just waiting for the new intake manifold to come in and final exhaust work.
Some pics:
New SwainTech coated LCB header...
Though now that I look at the pic it looks like the RH pipe may be bent - hope that's just the camera!
All-new front suspension (cept for the shocks) and brakes, lines, bushings, bolts, everything. Even a new quick-ratio steering rack (2.2). Last oil leak is the shifter bushings, all that oil is from the valve cover leak that destroyed all the rubber bushings which lead to waaaaaay more money being spent on this car than was originally planned.
In the upper RH corner of this pic you can also see the winter projects...
Joe - seriously stoked to come check out your project. As you can see my car is absolutely nothing compared to what yours will be, but still - I am really interested in talking to you about welding and fab as I have paid for this work to be done since this car was built using alien technology, but I want to do the body metal repairs myself if possible. Once my car is on the ground, I will get in touch with ya.
Edit: I just checked out your latest build pages - WOW! Nice work on the lathe and mills. I have been helping out at a local shop and was just cleaning up their lathe setup - looked an awful lot like that.

WS - I don't update my site as often as I'd like but I'm constantly making progress on the car. I usually spend 4-6 hours every weeknight and 20+ hours per weekend working on it. I want to drive this thing so bad I can taste it! Still lots to do though. Please PM/email me and we'll set up a time for you to come by and have a look. I look forward to seeing your car soon as well!

Updates
I'm over-budget, way past schedule, and there's still lots to do but I am making progress. I'm confident I'll have the Mini on the road this year. It's just a question of when this year and how clean the final product is.
