Nick is human...i dont wish him death...i wish that he just learns a good lesson out of this. Nick is an a$$...and yes ive met and talked with him several times...so this is a first hand opinion. Hulk is an awesome guy as is his wife. they are really nice genuine people...they tell it like it is but thats something that i admire....Nick on the other hand EXPECTS everything. He is young and dumb and doesnt think before he acts or says something.

as for growing up with money...my family is old money. BUT i grew up having to WORK for what i wanted. i had to earn the grades, do the house work, respect my parents, i was taught morals and values and if i didnt act right then i was punished and things were taken away from me. i dont go crawling back to mommy and daddy everytime i crashed my cars or got a ticket....i had to deal with it myself....so i was forced to get a job and work to pay for everything. i dont care if you are an Andretti....when you get your license and youre free from mom and dad and in a sports car on the street you are going to be stupid.
But you should expect someone to always clean up after you.

my parents bought me an rx7 when i was 17. was it smart? to them it was because i wanted a jeep cj10 and they thought i would flip it over and die. did i get a **** load of tickets and accidents and license suspended? HELL YEAH! but I was the one paying for repairs and tickets and court fees. I learned my lessons and responsibilty.

i think what most of us are saying is that Nick NEEDS to learn something from this. Hes lucky....hes going to walk away....will he get punished? probably not which sucks a slap on the wrist isnt going to help....HE should step up to the plate and take what comes...not fall back on his family.

and for wrxtunered.....would I take all of those things if it was just handed to me? NO...and if you call BS thats fine because you dont know me. i dont take ANYTHING unless ive earned it! if someone insists on giving me something i go above and beyond so i can continue to remind them that their gift is forever appreciated and valued. I never take anything for granted especially when its coming from someone else.

That is a very admirable post. +1 to the hard working folk who earn what they have in life, and that goes for friends, because friends can be bought too, sadly.

Yeah, him and his wife seem like really good people deep down... They have morals and understandings of things. It's a shame that their children are spoiled rotten brats. Nick really needs a friggin reality check, and thats why I mentioned the Iraq situation. Can you imagine how much he would isht his pants without mommy and daddy around to save him? Please!

Just to prove my point, did you earn the house you lived in when you were born? Did you earn your freedom in the United States? Did you earn your right to vote? Did you earn the rx7 your parents bought you? How come you got a car and house when the kid who's family was on welfare didn't??? ITS ALL RELATIVE!

I'm by no means saying you're a bad person, what i am saying is that EVERYONE IS handed things in life and when you move up in social class people tend to be handed more expensive things that are potentially more dangerous and stupid.

Are we all mature enough to have what we are handed... maybe... probably not, especially when we are handed things that can hurt others. It's situations that we mess up in that can help us learn and some people mess up more than others. Darwinism, probably. Nick's case, he NEEDS to learn a lesson, but I don't know him so I can't say specifically what lesson, however his accidents demonstrates that something he was doing wasn't right and that he needs to adjust that, be it his attitude or his appreciation for $. I never got my license suspended... does that mean you're less mature than me? No, it means people learn from mistakes, and trust me I have had my own.

Who is to say what people should or shouldn't have? What made you deserve having a car when some grown adults who have worked their whole lives can't have a car because they were born into poverty or an orphan???

You have been handed things, and that is not a band thing. It is what you do with what you are handed that can make it a bad thing or a good thing.

Whaaaa whaaa whaaa! Why don't you go cry us a river about Paris Hilton's jail sentence, and what a tragedy that was.

If I have a zillion dollars, no regard for my own life or anyone elses, wrap my car around a tree with a friend in it with me, and it's my fault... Then hell yeah, make fun of me for being a dumb ***!

Cuz thats what he is! You're pretty lame yourself for sticking up for such a moron.
