study shows that texting while driving impairs your ability to react 20% worse than driving while drunk.

I will do it at a red light, but if its that important, pull off the road.

What's still extremely gay is that BEING ON THE PHONE EVEN WITH A BLUETOOTH is over being drunk. I don't understand how california made a law for this when there is significant proof that just talking to someone, especially if you're emotional (upset at a GF or excited) that it is just as distracting as holding your phone.

Again, shows how stupid our legislature is getting.
