I had no idea the Dallas game went to 4th OT. That's insane.

Go Sharks!

Seriously, Barry Trotz probably told him to do. I hope Cheechoo comes out of this ok.

They need to take out Forsberg, Arnott or Kariya (even though he's my favorite player). Hartnell can get deez!

Always thought Kariya was little biatch...hehe, ok he was like first half asian hockey player in nhl probably, and he isn't a bad player, but I never like him that much...

I don't think the sharks played phsyical enough, the sharks need have the big guys throw their weight around a little more. I didn't see most of the first period, so I don't know how well they played in the 1st

Please rephase.. It's the Canucks game.

lol.. j/k

i stayed up all night watching the game.. luckily the nucks won or else.. I would have been pissed.

nucks played a very poor game last night. Can't wait for tomorrow.

Sharks played a very solid game and if it wasn't for that minor mistake they wouldn't have to go OT.

Wings and Flames tonite. INteresting game. I like for the wings to win.. cos flames are our rivals.

Kariya is very good.. he is one of the better players in the NHL and of course he is from BC.. I use to live a few blocks from him.

sharks will do fine without. they have enough depth to go far. Solid goal tending, strong #1 line (if Ron Wilson makes the right choice to replace Cheechoo), and a strong defense. two of last night's goals were from the blue line. the lose of Cheechoo hurts, but the Sharks are not built around there stars.

I second that, I think others will pick up the slack, like Grier(the best new addition I though for this year), that one timer was beautiful...although he's a little weak on break away situations...

Also, as much as Bell has been disappointing, I still have hope that he will break out of his shell for the play offs. He would have had a goal if it was for the penalty.

I thinks its that Guerin didn't have an expolsive effect. Not like Joe Thronton's arrival. I think Guerin will make a difference. Its only been one game and SJ came out on top. Sharks played very well but started to weaken towards the end. It shows that the Sharks have what it takes.

In regards to Mark Bell, he will make a difference. Last night he beat Vokoun on the first shot of the game. It would have been a goal if there hadn't been the holding the stick penalty on Guerin. Players that we don't expect will pick up the slack. Rissmiller (sp?), Bell, Carle, etc. will show us how awesome they really are.

He scored some nice goals, he's a streaker, he said so himself. So, hopefully he'll have a nice burst of good streaks. Although the announcers did comment that when Guerin was penalized for something later in the game that he picked up his game after Cheec went out, personally i didn't notice that, but I wasn't really focused on Guerin.

nonetheless, it will be a good playoff series i am guessing going to 6 games min.

Pavelski will be a perfect fit on that line.

I was listening to the radio and they said Cheechoo has a slight sprain of the knee and he she be able to be back probably by game 4. They reported that he wasnt on crutches either. I also heard that he wanted to go back out after he went into the locker room.

Yeah, I just saw article about Cheechoo online. That is awesome news. And, I was hoping it would be Pavelski. He is a great player, I would have picked him

Awesome news! Hopefully the sharks can close it out in four games, then cheechoo can get a week or so to rest.
