OK, then when we get to Ukiah you can just drive straight up 101 to the campground while the rest of us drive out to the coast, that should get you there about 4.

Seriously, if this is a big deal to everybody I can take out a couple of loops and bring us in a couple of hours earlier, let me know.

and the link works for me, try copying the address into your browser......

Note to self: Don't pick up hitchhikers along Mays Canyon Road.

However, it is not recommended either that anyone should try and help these spirits. They have hurt a number of people already; it seems best to leave them alone.

Let's get this back on topic... This weekend, can't wait!!!

I am, however, a little worried about us showing up at 10pm after a 12 hour drive. I have a strong feeling that there won't be much fireside chat come 11pm or midnight, once we are unpavked and have tents in place.

Do we have Sunday's time/distance yet?

No I figured we could improvise Sunday, I would have tried to map it out and measure some, but I've been way too busy the last couple weeks.

And 12 hours from 8AM will get us there closer to 8PM, maybe even a little earlier, depending on what kind of pace we can keep on Highway 1 coming in from the coast.

That includes a total of a little more than 170 minutes of pause time at different places during the day.

So don't worry!

It will be fun.

Okay, I believe you. You haven't let us down yet! And I like the sound of an improvised Sunday. There's a chance I might split of from the pack early on Sunday to try and make it to Stafford Lake before the sun goes down. It's the final Sunset Party of the year and guaranteed to be a blast. And it's close to our destination, so I'm thinking of it as a winner's circle party. :P

MAX!!!!!! you better not be backing out. I'll be so pissed off if you do. I might even go as far as calling you a pu$$y.

Portland was great everyone. 1326 miles of driving up and back. very nice. Tell ya more so other time.

The haunted road is really freaking me out. I grew up in a little house in Cape Cod Mass that i was sure was haunted. So ghosts / spirits really get to me.

Max- if we have to we will come to your house and drag you out kicking and screaming.

And we'll hit Mays cyn in the morning rather than under the full moon, so it won't be too scary.
