Happy day everyone. I've got my Whiteline (rear) swaybar in place. Thanks to Huck. And i'm more than ready for this drive. The car handles so much better. No wonder it was so hard keeping up with the front guys last time. I had to work my a$$ off. Now the car does most of the workload.

be careful as you re-learn the new behavior at the limits -especially off the tarmac, body roll is tractions friend in gravel and at the limits of adhesion- so the back end will break away quicker now, which is both a good thing and a bad thing.
Its a good thing if you learn to feel it and handle it,
-its a bad thing if it catches you off guard going into a corner too fast.
Oh, and there are a couple of good rally schools here stateside if you want a 3-day or full week intensive, sadly they are all on the east coast- closer than europe, but still a haul.
But these little 1-day SCCA..... ahem- excuse me- CRS rally schools are hard to beat for an introduction, you get all of the technicals (scoresheets, routebooks, what to do at controls etc.) of running in a performance rally along with a solid introduction of the basics of driving or co-driving including some hands on time with some of the best rally drivers on the west coast, all for less than a hundred bucks.
I reccomend it for anyone with the slightest interest in performance rally.

the rally school and rallyx were the best things that's happened to me since i got the car.
pete, again, thanks again for the ride along, you are very smooth.
that drive back through all those dirt roads was simply amazing
this over all weekend was the exact equal of a 48 hour orgasm.
left toe breaking is the ****, i'ev got it down pretty good as far as ameture goes, it definetly helped like crazy.
whats his name, the WRC driver for mitsubishi was there, and took out a students new evo, it was nutty.
im gonna sign up for the next rallyx for sure!
right now, im still to excited from the last 72 hours to type about it
let you guys know more about it later, and MUCH more in person
as pete as my witness, on more than one occation i was offered booze and i declined

Breaking with the left foot is really hard at first, You tend to put WAY to much preasure on the pedel and you slam to a stop or at least jerk the car badly. Over the years i've gotten better but still hardly ever use it.
I'm glad you had fun. But as a Die Hard WRC person you've got to remember the drivers name. Mitsubishi has been out of the WRC this year for $$$$$ reasons and further testing. As of right now i only know of one driver that has been signed to drive next season. That's Gilles Panizzi. The greatest tarmac driver in the world. Are you sure it wasn't just a test driver? Or even someone from the SCCA Pro Rally series of America. To me that would sound more logical.
I was thinking of bringing my own fire wood for the camping. Does anyone think i really need to?
