Apparently Tipsy Tow will not be available for all areas so check your local area to see if Tipsy Tow is available. If not there may be a different company offering the same service so check the listings for your area.

BART will run later than normal Monday night, sending trains around the Bay Area until 3 a.m. Tuesday. The service is not free.

BART will also send extra trains in and out of San Francisco for people going to see the fireworks downtown using the Embarcadero and Montgomery stations. To spread out crowds, trains to and from the Pittsburg/Bay Point and Richmond lines will not stop or pick up passengers at Embarcadero, while service on the Dublin/Pleasanton and Fremont lines will not stop or pick up passengers at Montgomery.

Caltrain will run free service after 11 p.m. Monday. The agency will also send four extra trains from San Francisco, leaving the station about every half-hour from 12:45 a.m. to 2:15 a.m.

Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority has free light-rail and bus service starting at 7 p.m., continuing through just before 4 a.m. Tuesday. Extra light-rail service will run late, with the last trains leaving the Santa Theresa station at 1:53 a.m., Alum Rock at 1:34 a.m., Winchester at 1:12 a.m. and Mountain View at 10:50 p.m.

San Francisco Muni will operate free light-rail and bus service from 8 p.m. Monday through 6 a.m. Tuesday -- the agency's 13th straight year of free rides on New Year's Eve.

On the Peninsula, SamTrans buses will be free after 11 p.m., lasting until 2 a.m. the
next day.

In Oakland, the Broadway Shuttle, or "Free B," will run extra service until 1 a.m.

The fireworks are slated for midnight off the barge on the Embarcadero, south of the Ferry Building.

Transit riders should not use their Clipper cards during the free service, or they may be charged.

AAA is offering free, 10-mile tows home for anyone who calls 800-AAA-HELP from 6 p.m. Monday to 6 a.m. Tuesday.

The transit operators will run reduced Sunday schedules on Tuesday.

Yeah please do not drive drunk. With my experience in the traffic citation world, I won't be able to save you from a DUI that's obvious.
