I think NYE parties are overrated now...Been to those massive parties at City Hall, etc. and it's really no fun anymore, maybe because i'm getting older. It seems everyone had the right idea and stayed in, spent time with family/friends, and got plastered without worrying about getting dressed up, rides or hotel accommodations.

Joel & I went to Santa Cruz for the night. Got a nice hotel a block away from the wharf pretty cheap ahead of time. We went to a couple bars, a brewery & drank a lot. Which was good since it keeps you warm when you're outside. We're back home now with the kitties.
