New Years Eve dinner?...

Was plannin' on havin' a nice dinner with my gurlfriend and maybe some family for New Years Eve.

Anyone know a good restaurant in Half Moon Bay that has a nice view and some awesome dinner? Maybe somethin' Italian or some nice place like that. List 'em up on the replies.

Thanks for the replies.

Citysearch, what a piece of crap. Why would you want to use that when you have the experience of hundreds of people in the bay area on this forum? It's not like he's asking for recommendations for Omaha.

I love Pasta Moon (650) 726-5125. I'd recommend the Butternut Squash ravioli. Of course they have other good dishes including meats and fish.

Also, none of the restaurants there has a 'view'. Most are on the main street / downtown area of town. If your looking for something with a view I'd recommened Moss Beach Distillery. Its a nice place to bundle up and watch the coast while you sip on wine under a blanket with your honey.

Thanks tide, I was just checkin' out the ravioli section there. You the man. And yes, I just used citysearch and that was a load of crap, doesn't help much on the views and menus and things like that.

if your going to half moon bay area then i would eat at Roy's. Its a very nice restaurant at Spanish Bay resort. Also in monteray theres The Rio Grill. Its more of a louder place but the food is awesome.

Had a great dinner at Cetrella in HMB on Main Street. Food is Mediterranean.

Menu is really deep, great bar and wine selection. Not sure what they have goin' on NYE but definately worth a try.

BTW, check them out here: http://www.cetrella.com/
