In subysport they tuned a stock 08 wrx to make 300wtq! Now thats only 1 thing i like about them, But everything else stays the same.

 

did they chop the roofline flat? that would be sick, less egg, more blade

i know, look how much better it looks with the flat roof, it actually blends with the spoiler, the real 08 has the egg buldge and doesnt match with the spoiler.

i guess theyd sell more thru headroom and not looks?

The grey hatchback thats been chopped looks sick as hell. Love the red tails, new front end (chopped). Why can't it look like that from the factory?

 

Yup. The way the new WRX's are setup, the key tuners in the market understand that they're working more for the tq number, and less interest in the WHP number. Believe it or not, having that kind of pull from the low end all the way up, and a tabletop torque curve is much more important for the driving most of us do...

When I drove the '08 up Mt. Hamilton, I kept it in second with an OCCASIONAL upshift into third. For the hairpins, I simply pushed in the clutch, rounded the corner, then let out the clutch and stepped on the gas. I had almost INSTANT pull, and it simply continued pulling HARD until I had to slow down to line up for the next corner. It was simply AMAZING!!

 

06-07 can make that much torque. 2.5 block ftw....

Now I wish I had one.

 

It's just too bad the tranny is a carry over for the WRX.

 

because i chose to major in Media arts/animation after i dropped out of summer classes at Academy for industrial design lol

i didnt want to move to LA or Detroit for a car design job, not to mention there are only like a few 100 car designers in the world...turns out they are churning out crap like the 08 sedan lol (aka kia, saturn, camry) or they rip off the mazda 6 hatch

i wouldve done a high res one, but hw sleep driving is more important

you think in a few years, any car companies would set up a poll for car design? like vote for certain models? that would be awesome

 

I won't buy a Honda Fit if Subaru makes the STi look like that.
