New Tires - Best Spot to Buy?

Not much posted about where to get good tires and have good service around SF. (i would enjoy close to sf, but if there is something worth driving to...chime in)
Americas tire? Les? Big O? costco?
Just curious where the good service along with good tires are located.

thank you.

New Tires - Best Spot to Buy?

I just ordered tires from wheel works and they were able to price match me with tire rack and gave me a killer deal on it all... $1150 for Bridgestone RE71R 265/35/18 mounted.

Seconded - went to wheelworks on Franklin in SF for Bridgestone RE760 Sport in 245/40/17. They were in stock, price matched, and had me out of there in less than 2 hours.

I picked my Michelin PSS up around 2 months ago at America's tire. Ended up being like 10 cheaper per tire than tirerack. Throw in mounting/tpms/recycle fees and it ended up being a good $70-80 less since AT did the TPMS for free. (I had 4 new sensors installed.)

Tirebuyer had better pricing than tirerack but I didn't feel like waiting for shipping.

Note: Wheel Works is owned by Firestone Complete Auto Care so if you have lifetime alignment with Firestone, show it to Wheel Works and they will give you an alignment..

IIRC, it was $190 or thereabouts. I just purchased it about 6 months ago.

Is that the regular one or the "exotic?" I remember them saying if you get the exotic you can do anything to your suspension and they will keep adjusting it. Like adding camber plates or adjustable control arms and stuffs like that.

I honestly can't recall and I don't remember them offering any options on the lifetime alignment. If I remember, I'll check the paperwork when I get home. I specifically asked about getting it realigned when I install new springs (King, non-lowering) and they said I could bring it in whenever I wanted.

OK, great to hear that!, thank you!

How do they tolerate heat? I loved Hankook RS3 for that. Don't mind waiting for tires to warm up.

Have you heard how they compare to AD08R and RS3 (v1 or v2)?
