Pretty sure if what you need installed is
  • Springs
  • Top hats
  • Springs
Then Auto Innovations should be able to do it in house and get aligned right after. However you'd have to definitely set an appointment in advance. They are typically booked weekends, 2 in advance. But I've tried sneaking in during the weekday and they tend to have much better availability as well as flexibility to do larger jobs like installs.

Give them a call!

Also refused to install a buddies Cobb DP because they said that the cat would guarantee fail and that he should just buy a milltek downpipe from him (already had a milteck catback on the car)

But since you all know way better than me I guess I'm telling lies. lol
Sounds like you were just offended. Gary can be like that. He's offering an opinion/advice on what he thinks is the best possible setup usually. All you have to do is say no thanks. Despite how young he is, he has a lot of experience with these cars and knows what does and doesn't work and he will tell you. As I already mentioned, he may also say the same thing about the Koni inserts.

If the guy genuinely thinks parts are bad and refuses to install them... is that a bad thing?
Back in my Speed Merchant days I used to do this all the time. Trick Flow heads and Overdrive Pulleys for Ford Lightnings, pretty much any suspension product made by BMR come to mind.

It's always a balancing act when a shop installs parts they didn't sell.
Imagine someone brings in a Ebay turbo and a shop charges several hours of labor getting it installed. And the turbo blows up after 50 miles (as ebay turbos are known to do). Is it the shop's problem? Is there going to be an argument about it (probably).
Now same situation and the shop sells the turbo they are installing, there's no debate. It's the shops problem.

That said, Mann has installed several items for me they didn't sell me or carry. This was in the last couple of months.

Not offended at all.
That is exactly what i did.
Laughed, Said no thanks and took my business elsewhere.
Was just giving my experience with the shop is all.

"your parts are bad, buy milltek from me"

Ended up going to Mann engineering, Gary was pretty easy to contact through emails, and they gave me a pretty decent price on install and alignment. Dealt mostly with Dan when I got there and was really pleased with how everything came out

Not sure on alignment on its own but wth everything I mentioned, white line rear subframe lock bolts, and an alignment for a bit under 500$

Glad it worked out.
$500 for all of that and an alignment is about right for a top-flight shop
