"On the STi the scoop forces air into the intercooler to feed the turbo, but the Rio's scoop is just there to look cool."

I didnt know the scoop forced air into the intercooler....

"By comparison, the $55,130 four-wheel-drive turbo WRX STi that it mimics has 195kW and can dash from 0-100km/h in 5.5 seconds."

55K? This is a sti not a porsche c4s...

That $55K figure is probably another country's currency.

Makes sense, americans dont measure power in kW. But that still doesnt justify a stupid statement like a hood scoop that forces air into the turbo.

If you're going to write about cars, you'd think the author would have a basic understanding of how cars work. Especially if you are trying to argue a point...

lol no don't you see how the writer is totally Dissing KIA?

"The Rio also has what is described as "a World Rally Championship-style rear wing", even though Kia does not have much of a rally heritage, or even a car in the WRC. "

So funny, the writer must hate this car more than we do!

I think I'm gonna be sick....

btw- The Herald Sun is "Australia's biggest-selling daily newspaper" and $14,990 AUD converts to roughly $9500 US Dollars.

I think I'm gonna be sick again...
