I am planning to visit and meet up my friends at new orleans (who are coming from different states as well).
i was hoping if anyone has a good idea what places to go? stay? and best place to get fares....

stay close to the french quarter, there is SO much to do and so much history around there.

 

no back alleys, or roads.. my buddy whom is white had a knife pulled to his neck for 2 dollars. that was pre-katrina... imagine it now...

atleast you're going there though, bring money to their economy... they need it now more than ever,.
