Hi everyone, I just joined this community and purchased my very first Subaru
a few days ago. I have been utilizing my Acura NSX as my daily driver here in
San Francisco and San Mateo for the past 2 years and I just needed something
a bit more economical, a bit more road friendly, and a LOT more practical.
Upon a 4-month deliberation, I finally decided (with the help of a few friends) on
my long-time obsession with the SG9 Forester 2.5XT and purchased the one you
see in the pics below. My friend actually found the car for me right here in the
classifieds section of i-club, so maybe a few of you know a bit about the FXT
already.
I purchased the Forester locally, and I absolutely fell in love with it the moment
I laid my eyes on it. It has a VF39, STi TMIC, Helix Catted DP, a full 3" exhaust, a
Cobb Accessport V2 with a Stage III base map installed, and a variety of other
miscellaneous bolt-ons that were included with the car. It also came with all of
the OEM parts that had been removed from the car by the previous owner.
Anyway, enough bantering on about the car, it's only been a few days that I've
had it in my possession and I am having an absolute blast. Here are just a few
pictures of the Forester XT

plus, a picture of the car that the FXT is replacing:

believe it or not, my NSX has 174k miles on it! True definition of daily driven.
and I guess I'd might as well throw in a picture of the project car too.

My 993 Porsche is currently undergoing a ton of bodywork at 5Fifteen Auto Body
and having a full RSR Clubsport Widebody installed, as well as an entire respray
to a new color. The factory 3.6L aircooled flat-6 has been bored out to a 4.0L
Anyway, just wanted to say hi and that I hope to meet you guys soon.
