I read that last week. A Mustang? Sigh...

But it's kinda creepy how that guy actually looks like a young Hasslehoff.

As much of a GM and T/A guy as I am (my family has owned 6 over the years) I'm actually kind of glad the new KITT is a a GT500KR. A 2002 T/A WS6 would have been nice, but we all know studios want/need car companies to sponsor movies like these (like Transformers and GM), so a 2002 model wouldn't be realistic. Out of all modern cars, the GT500KR is the the best fit IMO. It is the most "muscle car" car made today, bar none.

A new Z06/ZR1 would be kool, I guess, but the original was more of a pony/muscle car than a true sports car ('82 T/A) .

If it was a Z06 he'd have to be in a "wife beater" T with huge gold chains and a body hair sweater vest poking out everywhere.
Jersey KITT.

I agree, thats why Im surprised GM didnt get the new Camaro in there like they did for transformers, kind of a no-brainer since its about to come out, would have been a huge marketing coup. Ford must of had to pay through the nose for this.
