Might do HID later (I have an HID kit I yanked out of the stock capsules that hasn't sold yet), but for now these things throw out PLENTY of light in all the right spots . The HIDs in the stock capsules were brighter but the beam pattern on these is far better.

If anything, I'd be interested in getting an HID bulb for the HIGH beam on these to take the high beam from "awesome" to "HOLY $H!T AWESOME"

I like them since they look very similar to the previous generation WRC car's headlights.

I think those particular lights look much better unpainted. More of a rally style look.

I'll probably leave them unpainted, maybe get them painted gloss black though. Previous experience tells me that rattle can ain't gonna cut it up there, so will have to wait until I can take the car down for a few days (once my SS is back on the road, probably mid/late Sept) if I do paint them and let a body shop do the job.
