I used it for a while, but started including spyware in their newer versions... you can opt out of the spyware now, but i'd rather go with something that hogs less resources and still gets the job done.

agh, i got discouraged when i saw the vista app on their front page. i'll give it a check and report if it's good.

spyware was mentioned in this thread, i'm hoping this wont fudge up my mac, but i havent ran into any viruses yet.

I've been using it for about 2 years now. It's awesome, I don't use the global status update though. I don't like spamming facebook. I strictly use it for instant messaging.

mac users : adium + google notifiers + tweetdeck will accomplish the same thing (assuming you use gmail), notifying you of anything from growl. although i guess that makes digsby a 3-in-1 solution.
