That second one was Thunderhill turn 8.

is my favorite since you can see my car in it

glad everyone's OK... you shouldn't track something if you can't afford to crash it. hopefully they knew what they were getting into... but i'm surprised... was this an open track day? seems like a lot of carnage for anything b/c actual wheel-to-wheel racing... buckle your helmets guys......

Well,
That wasn't Shiv, his car had already given up the ghost by the time we got to thunderhill he had to pack it up and head home. He had problems on day one and even some help from Mitsubishi wasn't able to quite get it going again in time. If you zoom in to the next level you can tell it isn't him.
That was during Open Track Challenge 2004. http://www.opentrackchallenge.com
It's coming up for 05 if anyone else wants to try and be fast.
My codriver did notice that those were both RRE cars. You can see that they both have mueller on them. I'd bet he wasn't driving either time though.
That was actually the 2nd car that Derek **** managed to flip, the first was a Supra. The joke last year (good natured ribbing) was that if you do that to two street cars at the track, god is trying to tell you something and he is telling you to autocross.
It does suck that he still had to make payments on hit. I think that RRE did help him to part it out to get as much back as possible though.
