"Witnesses and friends indicate he had become drunk and belligerent," Humphreys said. "He had leaned over the balcony rail, was shaking his finger at the people in the next room over. He fell over."

That'd be ridiculous to see; some meathead talking **** to you while you are in your hotel room, and then he falls over...............haaaaaaah. Goddamn, this goes with the notion football is just bigger and bigger and worse athletes these days, jk.

I just can't imagine what response those people in the other room had to the situation.

At least he died doing what he loved.

But seriously, if you told me to picture in my mind a dumb drunk jock meathead that would kill himself doing something stupid on spring break, this is exactly the picture that would come up in my mind.

Thank you for re-enforcing your own stereotype

Seems to be the cool thing to do. Instead of bridges, everyone is jumping of balconies.

James isn't the first spring breaker to die from a balcony fall this year. Brandon Kohler, a 19-year-old from Winder, Ga., died March 24 when he fell from a fifth-floor balcony at the Holiday Terrace Motel in Panama City Beach.
But in all seriousness. Am I the only person who thinks it is kinda ****ed up to be laughing and poking fun at this?

poking fun at someone who fell over a 5th floor balcony and didn't have an ear imbalance or anything..............I'm pretty sure it's ok.
