Whats Up People,
No I am not getting rid of my car, but my GF has decided to scrap her '98 civic because it is cursed. I say cursed b/c I dont know of any other car that has been broken into 2 times within a 3 month span and these are in different locations. Anyways, she is looking for a new car 30k and under. Yes, she considered a WRX but her mom hates my car already because it's too low and loud for the quiet streets of Cupertino. Since a majority of you are more car knowledgeable than myself, I am looking for any serious suggestions you may have. Right now she is considering a Volvo S40, one of those new sporty models volvo came out with recently. They look pretty nice. Since I havent been to the dealership lately what are STi's going for out the door these days. Thanks for the help peoples....

30k eh....hmm, s2000 if she likes the sporty roadster look, 350z is pretty nice, g35 like kspek says..kind of big for my taste though, STi, Evo, acura TL looks REAL nice..the new ones..but then..these are all 30k plus...everything else, im guessing 30k out the door? a bmw 325i is around that price, not a bad lookin car. there are so many cars she can get with that amount of money, so i dont know..what kind of car is she into? try again for the wrx..lol, it doesnt have to be loud and low..the wagon is nice, oh how about the legacy? for 30gs u can get the best one. maybe a v6 accord? a c230 kompressor benz is around that price..wow so many cool cars! so does she want a fast car? reliable? or maybe a lower profile car? tell us more!
btw is that civic stick? is she like..gonna sell it? if so..can i learn stick on that and then u she could sell it! id like..pay..to borrow it but..yeah well, is it a stick?

Oops, Yes there are a lot of choices out there. I should clarify. I dont think she wants a 2 seater or a 2 door car. As far as HP, she is lookin for a little more "go" than what the civic had to offer. Thanks for the help guys...
BTW, her civic was an automatic...For her new car she wants a Manny tranny...Sorry bro

I suggested the Saab to her as well. Are they making a comeback b/c one thing she was worried about is the expensive maintenance of the Saab. Also, if she got a Dodge Neon SRT-4 i'd dump her...

lol, alright just aksing abou the stick thing..im asking everyone i know that question so yup, ok so no 2 seater, and no 2 doors, well, the saab is ok, my brother and his friend test drove one at this auto show thing..and they said it sucked...yeah my brother said he was into it but then after driving it..its not that good, the interiors is crappy, the seats and stuff are cool but the console and others were...ugly? simple? i dunno, and it was slow..not as powerful and the steering wasnt reponsive..or..too light, something like that, i dunno, u should go test driving with her. the is300 is pretty cool..small little cute lexus car...definitely a chick car, ..again the legacy gt turbo is the way to go, its a subaru, its fast, its 4 doors, it looks real nice. show her some pictures, and where is that picture of these 2 nicely fixe dup legacy together in japan...it was nice. the legacy is what? 250 hp..gotta see it! and if ur gonna get the TSX..might as well go for the TL..right guys?

edgar,

that saab is a REAL POS. I drove it at the GM show and it sucks. nothing like a WRX and also it was a auto so that might be it but it was a DOG.

Fizay,
i like your thinkin....I should just tell her to get a Kia Rio...Then the money she saves can go towards fixing up my car....Hey at least she gets the satisfaction of riding shotgun in my tricked out ride...I drive most of the time anyways right?
