Partially on the subject, the (awesome) movie/book Freakanomics has a article about criminals are on the decline due to the invention of birth control. The 90's claimed it to be "raise in police force" but you could see it was due to birth control 30-40 years prior leading to less unwanted children that usually lead to criminal acts.

I think this would help decrease that even more if given to teen boys.

 

Freakonomics attributes this to the legalization of Abortion... and make a damn good case for it.
I guess it's the same effect.

Imagine every 8 year old boy gets this... no kids until you turn 18

Dumbasses are gonna have unprotected sex no matter what. I seriously doubt there would be a higher rate of HIV infection. Just lower teenage birthrates.

At least HIV screws the person having the sex over, they need to live with the consequences of their own actions... instead of having a kid and screwing the kid's life over too

 

Well you can still be protected from std's with a condom, I would be weary to stick it in bare with any random hoe. But I guess when your a kid that doesnt go threw your head.
