The emissions are going to kill me right?
As far as emissions go, you will most likely pass. No noise tickets either with that setup. Yellow, right on, not many of those rollin around.

I lived in Downtown Seattle for a few years. (97'-00)
Welcome to the bay BTW.

I would suggest getting your car pre-smogged. It's not that much more and then you can be certain that it will pass smog.

BOV will fail the visual if it can vent to atmosphere. Intake will pass only if there is a CARB exemption order number for the specific part.

Put the stock stuff back on - no worries.

I'd say welcome, but I haven't lived here long enough to be able to do that yet. I moved to SF about a month ago, so I know what it's like being new to the area. All of the Suby people I've met around here have been really cool, and the Bay Area is a lot of fun so far. Hopefully you'll like it as much as I do.

It's where you go to a smog shop and they will run a test to see if you car will pass smog. If they say it will, then they smog it for you and you will be on your way. If it fails, it does not go into the system and you will be able to see why it wont. Plus if you pre smog it saves you money. I think a presmog is about 30 dollars, while a smog is $80. Also, make sure that you will pass visual, they are really hard on that here. You can get a presmog at most of the certified smog places. Good luck!
