Hey all just I just got a 2002 wrx wagon and I am getting a CEL. Anyone in the northbay one of those things that pulls codes.(Sorry I am a newb don't know the technical term). One a positive note though I ****ing love this car. I had an a4 avant before this and let me tell you that this car is better in every performance aspect hands down. Im lovin it.

You can go to Kragens and have them use their OBD2 and extract the code for you then go online and check the code yourself. cost $0.

both autozone and kragen don't do that anymore, they got sued.

I've got a scanner you an borrow in oakland.

If the CEL is blinking, don't drive it and call LIC, if its not come by and borrow it, then call LIC lol

I'm sure LIC can pull the code for you, it just takes seconds.

+1 for LIC because they're down to earth, honest people and within a very reasonable driving distance from Petaluma. They're very nitpicky with the cars they work on and it doesn't leave their garage until the problem is fixed the way they want it.

It was misdiagnosing that caused the law suit.

true that, i recently went up to the LIC boys w/ panda and they did a simple oil change and found another problem. they wont let you out of their garage without the problem being fixed... unless you wanna leave. hah!

i had a major problem occur on my sti and they found the problem real quick.

great guys and i too drive all the way up to them.

also good food in the area as well.

Thanks for all the responses. I will have to go to LIC and get this code pulled. Fortunately the light isn't blinking but its nice to hear that there is such a well recommended company in the area.
