Thumbs up New Addition to the Family

My dad was overdue for a car for years and his old Mitsu Mirage was starting to go on him. He was looking at the Mazda6, Accord, Camry or Legacy. He fell in love with...what else ? It's the 2.5i SE model, no extras. He just needs a good car.
Just got it within the last hour at the new Fremont dealer. Only reason he went there was because Carlsen was out of stock until February and the salesperson at Carlsen recommended Fremont. I'll let you know how the deal went at Fremont.

nooo... dont do that do daddy! daddy needs to use money to pay for the rest of the family's income. haha. jk.

but seriously though. nice purchase. although GT would've been a better option. (ya ya ya i know i'm a hypocrite for owning a 2.5i as well. )

Went for a test drive in a 2.5i and the GT Spec B.

Was actually impressed with the 2.5i. Very capable car.
For the price difference you would think the Spec B to be alot better than the 2.5i, rather than just marginal (in my opinion)

I'd definately get a GT and not the Spec B, but I still like the 2.5i (if I could get out of the 'play' mobiles )

Thanks for the link. I doubt if you'll EVER see him there, so I just registered myself.
Nor will he even mod the car.
Quick question though. Here's a FIRST I've ever heard: the dealer didn't drill holes and slap-on their dealer frame/plate (WOW!) on the front bumper and he said there is no license plate bracket. Any options for the Legacy once he gets his plates ?
TIA

LOL!! Good one, Gino.
Sup, J ? You coming to Boondoggle ?

Took a look at the car today. Pretty nice to have a Legacy. If we could've afforded it, I would've gotten one instead of the Mazda 5. It even has the boxer sound (a mini version at that) coming from the twin exhaust. I feel like secretly slapping-on an I-Club sticker on the car.
