Hey, I have an idea. Instead of reforming state spending to eliminate waste, why not nanny-tax the crap out of everything?

I'm pretty sure someone would blow up city hall or something like that if this ever passed.

People can't afford those prices! If they do it, at least do it after I get out of college.

This isn't even aimed at balancing the state budget. All of these new tax dollars would be allocated to the Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs.

Who is Josie and Kent Whitney (the ones that wrote this proposal). Are they politicians? Or civilians that submitted it through their state reps?

Well, beer does have food value while food does not have any beer value. Sounds sensible to me. Speaking of that, $3.50 pints @ HMB Brewing Co. tonight!!!

WOW, tax on a 6pack of beer could cost about as much as the beer itself? Now there's a reason to start home-brewing if I ever heard one.
