NEED YOUR INPUT. FOOD for Mt Hamilton, what shall it be?

We've tried making the steak and chicken thing work in the past, but it just doesn't work... Far too many people and far too little grill for that.

So here are the options.

1. Pizza. I will contact a local SJ pizza place and see what kind of deal he can guve us on 150 pizzas. This requires at least 10 people to drive down and get the pizza and bring it up). (Or maybe they can deliver?)

2. Hamburgers and Hotdogs. Not your regular crappy stuff, high quality costco meat and buns. This requires people to cook them and there may be a line but it will be much faster than the steak and chicken.

3. Third option. Explain:

I like the burgers and hot dogs idea.

I'll even help out with cooking.

burgers hotdogs and chicken breasts are always the way to go. That way you can through some veggie patties in the mix for the nancy boys..Ikid.

tri-tip sandwhiches aren't all that bad either. You can get decent deals if you buy tri-tip in bulk from a butcher. One good size tri-tip can feed quite a few people in sandwhich form. not too too expensive...more than burgers but not to bad.

I can't do chicken or steak... it takes too long to cook.

If we did pizza, we could have them all delivered at once. I just called the place.

pizza's are expensive as ****...if they're even decent...say round table. Two large pizzas is like $40. you'd have to limit how many peices people can get on their way through.

You can get some card board pizza and pull it off for reasonable price.

plus my bet is that by the time the pizzas get there they will be colder than hell...especially if you had to order.....say 30 pies.

I say stick with the patties and dogs.

Regular burgers and dogs. Then the tofu dogs and boca burgers for the vegetarians. Otherwise they're stuck with baked beans and chips.
