I'm in need of a stock intake for a smog check. I live in Milpitas and tried to get it smogged and they said that since its not street legal they wouldnt do the tests for me.

I have an AEM cai and looking for someone who can sell or let me borrow one. I tried looking on the forums and haven't found any so hopefully someone has one that they'd be willing to part with.

If anyone knows any other possible options then please let me know.

 

If your intake has the CARB sticker its street legal. I know the aem short ram intakes are but not sure about the cold air.

Contact AEM regarding how to obtain CARB sticker. That intake is CARB legal.

 

Cool thanks. I'm working on e-mailing them now for a carb sticker but I figure it'll still take a while for them to send it to me.

Anyone got an AEM CAI piece with a carb sticker i could trade/borrow? Will pay!

 

see if they post their carb exemption number online. back in the day i had to smog a car with an injen cai and all i had to do was bring in a paper that showed that the intake was carb exempted. it didnt have a sticker or anything.
