You don't have to remove the whole door pannel to get to the switchs. That said heres how you do it and how you get to the switches.
Remove the screw located behind the interior opener lever. Remove the screw in the bottom of the pocket you put your hand in to close the door, use a small screwdriver to pop up the screw cover first. Pry up the pannel that covers the electric window switches from the rear, ie. next to the pocket. Then pull backwards twards the back of the car. Remove the screws you see under it and disconect the connector for the windows and locks. Remove the screw or screws, you'll see it/them easy, under where the controls were. Now just pop of the pannel starting at the bottom but useing a flat head screw driver as a pry. work your way around the left, right and bottom area poping the fastner out (they are pretty tough compared to most and don't break easy). when you are done lift/push the pennel up and forwart at the same time and its off. to put it back on just do the reverse and press or punck (not to hard) whear the tabs are as they will line up pretty easy. Good luck, but you won't need it just be carfull not to scratch any thing with the screwdriver and if you do break one of the plastic connectors just go get some more, they don't cost much but are expensive compared to what they should cost wich is about 00.75. I had no problems with mine.
