Need a serious car cover or tent doesn't violate home owner ***.

Hey there, I know they use to sell the tents @costco. They no longer do. Also I'm afraid these big green tents you see online will violate home owners association bull****.

any ideas? thanks guys.

If you have a home owners association you need to find out what they will and won't allow.

Is there some type of car cover that encloses the car better?

Maybe one of these:

But seriously, you can't really expect help without first finding out what the HoA does and does not allow.

Yeah you have to contact them. More than likely you're talking about one of those white ones with the flaps that cover the sides front and back and those aren't cheap.

Sounds like the only thing you could use is an actual car cover (not a tent structure)

At the same time, the flipside of that is the ******* that I used to live next to who had an un-secured Costco tent that was picked up in the wind and landed on my bugeye. I went to the city of San Carlos and they would not do anything about it, nor would the owner. He was finally sued and ended up paying for the damage to the car. HOA's suck, but they are generally there because some fool was stupid enough for there to be a need for it.

Even with a single-dwelling home, you'd find similar code violations with the city.

TBH, I'd be pissed if my neighbors put one of these up in their driveways on a permanent basis.

Oh damn! I'd be pissed!

Yeah they're usually right on and have good reasons but some of them are ****. We got a letter about having excess weeds at our house up in Arnold.

My folks freaked out and we went up there to take care of it. I am not kidding... I pulled ALL the weeds in under 5 minutes. There were only a couple of them and they weren't very tall. LOL!

I've seen some tucked in that are o.k. Like if you have a side gate and it's tucked in by your house.

But they rip if you're trying to do work in the shade.
