My radiator just started leaking from the top next to the coolant container.

My plastic piece of my radiator cracked a while back, and I just replaced it with a used OEM one. I called around to the local shops to see if anyone had a spare one laying around, from customers who had upgraded to a Koyo or some other aftermarket radiator. I was lucky enough to find one in good shape, and picked it up for cheap. You may want to call around, or post a WTB ad in the classifieds, to see if anyone has one. As for install, you can just do it yourself at home with some hand tools - it's really easy. I had never done it before, and I managed to get it done in about 1.5-2hrs.

Do you believe that this could be repairable? There's a reputable radiator repair shop that fixes radiators for Gov't entities in Sunnyvale. My friend had his rad fixed for his 999s for around $40. Let me know if you want to go that route and I'll get their information.

I don't think the plastic is repairable...

Honestly, factory radiator works just fine. Just get a replacement. I've seen em as cheap as $100

In many cases the price of parts is minimal compared to the labor to install them...

Buy good parts. A failed stock part is an opportunity to replace it with a better part, should there be one available.

ironic. I thought I needed a new radiator so went out and bought a $500 Mishimoto kit. OEM replacement radiator, fans+shroud, and hoses. turned out one of the fuses popped. yes there are two fuses, one for each fan on your radiator.

all parts are brand new, and i'm moving in a couple weeks and wouldn't mind cash and fewer items to move.

PM me an offer for all or some of the items. I still have the paypal receipt from BoomBop Racing in so-cal who sold it to me on ebay.

i got my mishimoto radiator dirt cheap and has been serving me well for a year or so with no problems whatsoever. Get some new hoses as well since you're gonna change out the radiator. doing the job yourself is pretty easy even for someone not so mechanically inclined.
