Also look at the numerous problems that Mitsubishi's have had in general. When all else fails, use this provided picture.
Ive seen this video clip, the evo bottoms out and the sti doesnt

i dont know 100%

but i have heard many of people say that. who knows the reliability behind that. but i have heard it from many different people.

i dont know how that is legal though. is there not a law that protects consumers when manufactures try things like that?

If I recall it had something to do with Mitsu looking at online Auto-X rosters, wasnt it? Matching people with warranty issues to Auto-Xers.... or something. Then voiding them.

yea...my point was that they can't do that.

If I track my car and then my radio goes out, how is that in anyway relevant?

On the other hand if someone comes in saying they have problems with brakes or suspension after tracking their car they don't really deserve to be warrantied anyways

no i agree. maybe they just document it for future warranty work assessments. ya obviously they cannot really void a radio in the event of you dragging your car or something.

but i didnt mean to get OT. just thought id mention they are real ****** from what i hear about their warranty. maybe rocky can share some info on this

How often do you drive on unpaved gravel roads?

EVO > STi hands down

Now a pimped out FXT > EVO.

evo = STI, its like a green apple and a red apple. they are the same just excel in different areas...and i own a evo, and i'll be honest the clutch sucks, the interior is crap (besides my leather recaros), but the turn in is awesome, the seats hold, the motor is bulletproof up to 450whp (as a daily driver)

yeah, the EVO has significantly better turn in and back end rotation.

what were your times again at the auto-x last weekend?

mine were 82, 81, 80, 81.

IIRC, yourse were something like 82, 80, 79, 78? the evo does wonders!

Now given I do not have an STi, and we are both diff. weights, diff. driving skill, etc... but I think the numbers do speak a bit for the car.

In track, I think both cars are even.
In auto-x track, an evo will pwn unless the wrx/sti is a really good driver.
In rally, the STi for t3h win!

STi has better drivability on the street, much better quality on the inside, can still be driven if stuffed, has a better sound, has a Spec-C that beats the Evo, has a better company backing it up, come with a 6 spd without upgrading, i-club pwns, more forgiving suspension, minimal lag compaired, and it's a Subaru.
