Need help from the people w/ EDMs.
I have EDMs and was trying to reaim them. I haven't found pictures on how to reaim them but I can't find the 2 screws. Before I was looking online, my brother told me it was this little circular thing that has a white plastic center and metal teeth around it that I can spin and readjust them. So I started to spin it, and kept turning my car on and off in 20-30 second intervals as I was trying to see if it did anything. After that, I turned them on and the beam stopped working. The rest of the light is fine, high beams, turn signals, everything except for the lowbeam. Anyone know what I could have done?
This is for my driver's side and my passenger side is working just fine. I'd love help ASAP because I'd rather not drive at night like this. (It's a good thing it doesn't get dark until 9 or later)

yeah, do you have light coming from your low beam or is it off? if your low beam is off and the rest of the head light works then you might have a wiring problem. i think the upper adjuster is for the horizantal adjustment and the lower one (harder to get to) is for the vertical adjustment. you can use a 8mm wrench on the white plastic nut to adjust them. check out http://danielsternlighting.com/tech/aim/aim.html to learn how to aim them. i used this method and im pretty satisfied.

there is no more light coming out of my low beams, but yes the rest of the headlight still works. I just resoldered the wires because the previous guy just tied them together... arghh.. I don't understand why the whole drive home and sitting in the driveway it works, but then when I started tinkering with that lil **** it stopped....

Can the bulb break by doing that? Since I thought you can only adjust the headlights ~ 1-2 degrees. Does anyone have pictures of each ****, because I can only seem to find 1.

I checked the bulb when I got home from work today, and I can't see anything major like visible cracks or anything, is there anyway to check the bulb?

everything sounds like it is a wiring issue. i dont believe that over adjusting the bulb will cause it to burn out or stop working. just to double check that the bulb is ok take it out and make sure that the glass is intact and that the coil wire inside is not broken.
check this pic out to see where the bulb adjusters are. this is the rear of a modified headlight but the ***** should be in the same place.

the upper one is for side to side movement and the lower one is for up and down movement.

Well, took out the light (for probably the 5th time in the couple weeks it's been installed) and found out it's the relay harness that's sticking. If I hit it a few times, voila, the light works. So, I'm e-mailing the company that made it and see if they'll replace it, or how much it'll cost just to replace that part. Though, I have no clue why adjusting the beam would kill the relay...
Does anyone know of a good electrical shop that might work on this that's local to the east bay? Since it might be better if I get it done locally incase it happens again.
As for the pic, that is a great pic, and what kind of rubber sleeve is that over the port for the HID bulb? Since the EDMs I have just a big rubber hollow nipple. I'm trying to figure out how to plug it, with it only being temporary just incase I ever need to get it out for some reason.

Just re-do all the electrical connections on your lights. Probably a loose connector that needs to get re-crimped. Also get a new grommet for the bulb wires. You do not want it open so moisture can get to the bulb. I picked up some rubber grommets from a local hardware store awhile back when I had to drill the back cover for HID's.
