Need help looking for a 4X4 Truck

Buddies truck bit the dust due to a flown up hood @85, he is looking for a good work truck tha has 4X4 for tahoe, pref some type of ext. cab but mainly looking for reasonable miles and a japanese manufac. he is trying to spend around 6-8. Doesn't have a lot to spend but doesn't want to get something that is going to cost a crapload to fix in the next 2 years cause it's too old. Any advice/help would be welcomed, trying to help him get a decent ride.

They just seem to all be super expensive, looking at them is odd, people seem to ask so much. It's not a race car its a truck for christ sake. Doesn't seem like there is anything that doesn't either have tons of miles or isn't somehow jacked up.

hell yea, check the prices man, you are looking at like at least 20 g's for a low mileage.

How about a 91 F350 with a 460 and a 5 speed 4X4 with only 60k miles on it? It's a regular cab with a camper. My cousin is trying to sell his truck since he doesn't use it anymore. He'll let it go for like $8800.00. It's probably a bit more truck than he's looking for but, it's practically bullit proof and will pull most anything.
