Need to hear some Catbacks in person!
Sigh. I want to get a catback exhuast but just having the hardest time figuring out which one.
I dont plan to have any other mods. The clips on the web are usually also including DP and UP catless upgrades so the sound is very different.
The only catback I've heard in person is the Greddy Evo2, and that one sounds louder at idle than it does at WOT. I want the opposite, I want to hear it more at WOT and less noise at steady speeds (like 3K rpm).
I need to hear more in person. Anyone in the San Jose area with just a catback that I could meet up with? I am getting tired of hearing my turbo wastegate flutter.
Let me know if I can check out the sound of your rig. I'm really looking for cars with a catback but otherwise stock exhaust.
By the way, i've already tried using the links below for research.

There are some meets you could go check out in the Meetings sub forum. Greddy Evo2 is a good quiet catback, the STi catback sounds nice also. A custom straight pipe would be cool too....and cheap!!

ok, i'll see about stopping by on thursday to take a listen. I had not seen the donuts meet earlier today. My car is still bone stock (well, i think my hella air horns make my car much faster). Hopefully i can finally decide what to do!
