Need a group photo from BAM to give to the charity! Anyone?
Hey everyone,
As you all know we had a charity raffle for a couple of animal charities, with one charity we're going to have an ad banner put up on their website in two spots thanking us for the $2,000 we raised for them.
The other charity (Tri city animal shelter) wants a group photo of us from BAM so that they can put it up on their wall in the lobby with some text thanking us for our donations to them as well. All I need is a pretty good group photo of as many people as we can get, and I'll add text to it via photoshop, frame it and give it to them so they can put it up in their lobby.
Do any of the photographers that attended BAM 9 have some group photos? It doesn't have to be anything crazy, just a photo with a bunch of us in it preferably with some subies in it too.
We raised a lot of money for furry friends, and although $2,000 doesn't sound like a crazy amount, for the dogs and cats it's a HUGE deal! That money goes a looooong way and they don't typically get donations this large from people, even during their own charity drives the top donations are usually less then $1,500, and that's from groups of people who raise money over several months! We raised 2k in a day! I tried to get Adobe to double the amount but we didn't qualify because the charity fund had already been spent by June (a fund starts at the beginning of the year and a certain amount of money is allotted so when it runs out, it runs out. Next year we're going to bypass that and get the donation in early, I know a way.) Regardless of that, we did a SPECTACULAR job!
Also, big thanks to Adobe for donating the G7 CF mouse and that 16 gig flash drive for the raffle! I hella wanted that 16 gig flash card, but if I would have participated in the raffle people would soooo accuse me of stealing, lol...
Anyway, lets see some pics so we can proudly display our car club on the walls of the shelter!

Sorry for intruding B.LEE, but WOW, those are some really Great numbers!! Another fellow HIIC member and I are also doing a charity event coming up next month and I'm sure were not going to come close your BAIC numbers but we'll try. Our best was last year with nearly $1,400.00 raised for Aloha United Way but still not as close as $2k. So I just want to say congrats on a job well done and will be searching for those BAM pics.

The $2,500 we raised was donated the charity and they were SOOOOOOOO HAPPY! We donated more then other groups who have put together events like this, WAY more, like 100% more!
you guys have no idea how much they appreciated it. I made sure that the money went towards food only, and costco is helping with the cause and selling us dog/cat food for their cost so that $2,500 goes even further for the animals!
Food is def the biggest issue and this bought soooo much food, you guys have no idea.
Still waiting on them to contact me back, I also haven't had internet for about a week now and haven't been online for more then 5 mins each day on my phone which is why you haven't seen me around much.
Once they put up a banner of us I will post it.
To all the people that helped donate money by buying raffle tix, THANK YOU so much! You made such a big difference, and even though some of you guys didn't win anything, you're all major winners in my eyes.
You all helped homeless starving dogs and cats get fed and cleaned up.
Thank you, this means the world to me!
PS: Did I show you guys the new sniper rifle I got? It only cost me $2,500!!!

PS: I know I said $2,000 originally, but Adobe systems helped us out and added $500 (a percentage of our total) to the mix, which leaves us at $2,500!!!
Adobe rocks, they helped us out big time with prizes and money for the charity. Such a great company! I've worked for then on and off for the past 8 years.
