We'll see about the rally cross my friend :P
You'll do fine in the canyon if you have some nice tires and a rear sway... I've beat cars with much more suspension work with my stock WRX stuff, a rear sway, and tires... Either way, always fun to drive with you.

Go to UCLA. UCLA has a better standing among academic peers.

In terms of things to do in Davis, you either drink or go to Sacramento. Or you kick it with the UCDN people.

a lot of people say there isnt crap to do in davis, but i totally disagree. its all about the friends you make, and the things you do.
personally, i 'have fun' in davis, and im pretty damn sure i could 'have fun' at ucla too.
i just cant stand southern cali. traffic though.

and i agree with impreza01, i think ucla would look a lot better on a resume, and would make people go :O

Davis is very chill. Mostly its drinking and smoking... but hell, that's true about anywhere else too. I like this place a lot as a college town because its mostly college kids and its very layed back. I would never live here after college though. UCLA has a slightly higher academic standing, but UCD is moving up quickly. It also depends on what you want to study.

I was referring to mostly places where you could go for fun. Of course having fun with friends is always an option, but I was just answering the guys question.

oh.. if you like to skii or board, this is the place to be. Sugarbowl is just over an hour away so u can sneek off during the week... I always do it during the season. I'm also not too into socal and the type of people that seem to populate it. I'm not generalizing and not hating on anyone from socal, but I've met a lot of people from there I didn't like.

I lived in san fran for a while and then in Novato (middle of nowhere... kinda). I'd like to live in a big city for a while after college, but I really like Davis for college. Not too many distractions, but really more than enough

I'm not really the city type but i'm going down to LA and San Diego to check out the schools next week. I like the kick back, chill kinda place...But at the same time, I want to have a lot of options whenever I have free time and would like to do something fun. Seems like Davis might be my kinda place though. Thanks everyone.

Sounds like it is your kind of place. The great thing is that San Fran isn't all that far if you're really in the mood for a city. I'd say sacramento is close, but there's really not much there...
