Post Need to design 2 websites for my online portfolio

Whats up guys. So last month I just finished up my last training class to receive my Video Post-Production certificate from BAVC (Bay Area Video Coalition) in San Francisco.

Now that I'm through with my training I need to get my website filled up with projects. My site will consist of:

3 video projects
3 motion design projects
3 website projects.

At this point I need 2 sites to complete the "WEB" section of my site.

My revised portfolio site is currently offline, but I have already built out the structure + pages and some content, just needs projects added for me to display.

I'm looking to build a couple websites for some local businesses here in the Bay Area. Personal sites will be okay too but it's not really my preference... really depends on the content. I plan to be just using HTML/CSS for the websites. I can also add some animating flash elements or banners if needed, but won't be building a flash site... takes too long to update. In addition I can perform a limited amount of SEO for the site. I have no problem doing this work for cheap/free because getting new material for my website is my #1 priority at this moment.

Here is an example of a site I built: www.integratedfitnesssystems.com

Brief info about my education:

AA in Liberal Arts from Ohlone
BA in Multimedia from CSUEB
Video Post-Production Certificate from BAVC

I also worked at Motorola from 2008-2009 doing web design all day long.

I've been CONSTANTLY networking, scouring Craigslist for gigs and sending e-mails also posting free web design services online in hopes to generate some more sites as portfolio examples. I'm ready to start working on a new site ASAP.

Please let me know if you or anyone you know has a business that needs a website. Like I said before, a personal site will be okay too but I need to know the details and determine if the content is appropriate.

Feel free to PM me on here to discuss this or send me an e-mail:

jbrachhausen at gmail.com

Please put "Web design" in the subject field.

I plan to bump this thread until I get 2 new website projects to work on.

I need to build a portfolio website. I already have design in mind but I'd be open for interpretation. I'm not selling myself as a web designer.

Never gonna get a damn job unless I can get a portfolio site up.

Not gonna do portfolio sites though, I already have enough content to worry about for my own site lol.

Not trying to be nit picky just trying to help out: on integratedfitnesssystems.com the main logo on the top left corner of the page gets smaller when you go to another page from the home page. On the home page the logo is "231px × 83px" but the logo on the other pages are "231px × 83px (scaled to 216px × 83px)".

Other than that awesome site, super clean

^ Thanks for the attention to detail! I knew that part of the site had that error, but with all my classes going on and other projects I never went back and fixed it. Site owner doesn't seem to mind, but I'll still eventually go back and fix it.

Thanks for all the PM's and e-mails everyone!! Really really appreciate it.

I'll try to respond back to everyone today.
