Need to clear Secondary Air Valve codes from computer

I've gotten the dreaded Secondary Air valve codes due to seizing of the valves. I'm going to have the plates installed. I'm looking for some leads on someone in Santa Cruz or San Jose to have the codes wiped from my computer, they seized in the open position. Can anyone provide any assistance? 2006 WRX

Just throwing this out there, but I believe if you have an accessport, you can wipe the code if you download their software, otherwise you'll most likely have to go to a tuner.

I'm kind of looking to see if someone already has the COBB tuner or something I could use as opposed to investing in one myself. I'm not really into improving my cars performance these days, I bought it because I think it does well enough as it is. Just getting frustrated by everything I read on all the forums.

Do you have your own accessport?

I have an OBDII scanner that can clear codes.

Bluetooth obd2 connector and the torque app on your phone will let you do the same as well as give you access to gauges and data from your sensors. Will run you about $20.

the code will return if you just use an obd.

I dont have my own accessport. How long does it usually take for those codes to come back on. When unhooking the battery it's immediate that the CEL comes back on, even if the car is warm. Right now mainly trying to pass smog.

Does the cobb permanently delete it?

i used an obd reader to del the code for about 3 months. i was told the car checks that system every other time its turned on. one day my car literally died and would not start. eventually did, but clearing the codes never worked for me. personally i ended up paying the 1200$ and bought the compressor and replaced it.

from what i know, clearing it wont work. the block off plate wont pass smog, (unless someone has had luck with it). i was not interested in tweeking with the ecu reset thing, but i hear there is a way to get rid of the codes forever using a cable, sorry forget the name. edit: Tantrix.
